Fred Boltz Managing Director, The Rockefeller Foundation

Fred Boltz joined the Rockefeller Foundation in 2013. As Managing Director for Ecosystems, Dr. Boltz brings to the Foundation scientific expertise in economics and ecology, combined with practical knowledge of climate change, freshwater and food security issues. His work enhances the Foundation’s global portfolio as we expand our investments in revaluing ecosystems as an underpinning of human well-being, resilience and equitable growth.

Kajsa Dahlstrom, President, GlobeTree

Kajsa Dahlstrom is President of GlobeTree, an environmental organization which unites children in caring for the earth. Dahlstrom helped found GlobeTree in 1982, and since that time has empowered countless children and teachers to improve the world around them.

Eriberto Eulisse, Director, Civiltà dell’Acqua Centro Internazionale

Eriberto Eulisse is director of Civiltà dell’Acqua Centro Internazionale (Water Civilization International Centre), a non-profit NGO based in Venice, Italy. The Centre promotes trans-disciplinary research and holistic approaches to change unsustainable behaviours and practices in water percep­tion, use and management. The Centre manages projects aimed to seek for sustainable solutions to global water crisis, and promotes the re­covery of local knowledge related to water, and the material and non-material heritage of past water civiliza­tions.

After graduation in Social Sciences at the University of Bologna, Eulisse specialized in Anthropology of Arts at the Sainsbury Center for Visual Arts, Norwich (UK).

Dr. Peter Gleick, President Emeritus and Chief Scientist, Pacific Institute

Dr. Peter Gleick is a world-renowned expert, innovator, and communicator on water and climate issues. In 1987 he co-founded the Pacific Institute, which he led as president until mid-2016, when he became president emeritus and chief scientist.

Dr. Ian Goldin, Founding Director, Oxford Martin School

Dr. Ian Goldin is an economist, author, and development visionary. He is a professor of Globalisation and Development at the University of Oxford, and was founding director of the Oxford Martin School until September 2016.

Dr. Nik Gowing, BBC television Journalist, foreign affairs specialist

Nik Gowing has been a pioneer in predicting and identifying the new vulnerability, fragility and brittleness of institutional power in the new all-pervasive public information space. He has taken the lead in framing the interviews. Nik’s peer-reviewed study “Skyful of Lies and Black Swans, The new tyranny of shifting information power in crises” was published in 2009 by Oxford University. It draws on research Nik first carried out in 1994 while he was a fellow at the Joan Shorenstein Barone Center in the J. F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Gunter Pauli is a prominent entrepreneur, innovator, and author. He is the founder of the Zero Emissions Research and Initiatives (ZERI) and author of “The Blue Economy.”

Dr. Kathryn D. Sullivan, Oceanographer and Former Astronaut

Dr. Kathryn D. Sullivan is an oceanographer, geologist, and former NASA astronaut. She is the most recent Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, as well as Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
